We have invested in Recruitment and Screening to ensure standards are maintained consistently across the company, and we ensure right from the first contact that there is professional support, guiding people through the recruitment process into the working environment.

We have invested in Recruitment and Screening to ensure standards are maintained consistently across the company, and we ensure right from the first contact that there is professional support, guiding people through the recruitment process into the working environment.

Screening Process

EGS is committed to ensuring that all employees are of high integrity, reliable, reputable and capable of carrying out their duties effectively. We screen to the British Security Screening Standard (BS7858).

We have a team of fully trained Screening Officers, who ensure that each applicant is thoroughly security checked once a provisional selection has been made. The screening process establishes in writing, the whereabouts of an employee on a month-by-month basis, throughout the previous 5 years or back to the date of ceasing full-time secondary education if that date is more recent.

Training

As a minimum all team members will be trained in the following:

· SIA Security Licensing
· 1 day First Aid Certificate
· Health & Safety
· Customer Care
· Radio protocols
· Communication skills (written and verbal) · Law (including powers of arrest)
·
Physical Intervention (Self Defence)
· Conflict and Man Management
· Fire warden/marshalling (including appliance usage)
